PhD Graduate Survey Transitions Challenges and Opportunities in Australia's Water Industry
Researchers from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) are conducting a project to gain insights into the experiences of PhD graduates who have transitioned from academia to the professional sector, with a specific focus on the Water Industry. The research aims to answer the following questions:
How relevant are the skills acquired during a PhD to water industry roles
Were there cultural influences on skill development and transition?
What challenges were faced during the transition from academia to industry
What support mechanisms and success factors were or should be available?
The research project is looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
Hold a PhD granted by an Australian university.
Currently work or have recently worked in the Water Industry.
If you meet these criteria and want to take part in this research, please consider participating via the link below.
If you or your organisation are involved in a compelling biosolids project or research that you'd like to showcase (or if you've come across noteworthy work by others that could be of interest) please don't hesitate to reach out to Locus via admin@biosolids.com.au.
